Eternal Life?

The most important question you'll ever answer.
Take a few minutes - this is for you.

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

The Problem

We Are Separated
from God

God created us to know Him and live with Him forever. But every person has chosen their own way - and that choice carries a consequence.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23 (NIV)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23 (NIV)

Sin separates us from God. But the story doesn't end there - God made a way.

The Solution

God Sent
His Son

Because God loves you, He sent Jesus Christ - fully God and fully man - to take the punishment you deserved. Jesus died on the cross and rose again, conquering sin and death once and for all.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 (NIV)

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

How to Receive
Eternal Life

Eternal life is a free gift - it cannot be earned. It is received by faith. Here's what that looks like:

Admit You Are a Sinner

Acknowledge that you have sinned and that it separates you from God.

Believe in Jesus Christ

Trust that Jesus is the Son of God, died for your sins, and rose from the dead.

Confess and Surrender

Turn from your sin and give your life to Jesus as Lord.

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Pray This from
Your Heart

Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin separates me from You. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins, and that You raised Him from the dead.

I turn from my sin and I place my trust in Jesus alone as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your grace and for the gift of eternal life. Help me to follow You all the days of my life.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
