Onward: Celebrating the journey

Celebrting The Journey FB Event Cover.jpg

We have incredible milestones to celebrate! On November 19 during Sunday School, we will enjoy brunch and updates on our first year of our Onward journey. It has been a joyful year of faithful giving that has led to twice the anticipated first-year contributions, and we want to celebrate this with you!

So that you don’t miss any of the exciting details we’ll share with you, arrive a little early (before 9:30) to get settled. We will present to you in a rotation format, with brunch and a testimony in the Fellowship Hall, and Onward celebrations and building plan updates in the Worship Center. You’ll know where to begin based on your Sunday School class. All class members will receive details on where you will start off the morning. If you have any questions in the meantime, email media@nebaptist.com.

We will not have our Traditional (8:15 a.m.) Worship Service this morning, and we will all enjoy worshiping together as usual at 10:50 a.m.

oklahoma baptist volunteers meet spiritual, physical needs of hurricane harvey victims

HOUSTON—Postal carriers are famous for their tenacity when it comes to delivering mail and packages every day, clinging to the mantra of “Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.”

Yet, an unnamed carrier in Houston took that creed to a higher level recently when he helped deliver help and hope to an elderly widow whose rented home had been inundated as a result of the landfall of Hurricane Harvey along the Texas Gulf Coast on Aug. 17
